By accessing or using UnseenDesk, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
UnseenDesk provides personal finance tracking, encrypted record storage, document and file attachments, check printing aids, reporting, search, optional login protection, and utility tools such as a password generator, IP lookup, card-prefix lookup, and on-device code scanning. The Application is provided for lawful personal or organizational use only.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, for maintaining the confidentiality of your passphrase and device, and for compliance with applicable laws governing financial records, payment card data, identity information, and export of cryptographic software.
You must not use UnseenDesk to store, share, or process data you are not authorized to possess, to circumvent security controls, to probe or attack the service infrastructure, or to upload malicious content.
Sharing features allow you to grant other users access to selected records or folders. You represent that you have authority to share such data and that recipients are authorized to receive it. We are not liable for disclosures you initiate through sharing.
Finance features (accounts, transactions, checks, reports) are organizational tools, not professional accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. Reconcile balances and official records independently before relying on outputs for regulatory or filing purposes.
Card number validation (including Luhn checks) and card prefix lookup are informational only and do not guarantee card authenticity, issuer approval, or payment success.
Optional login protection (PIN, authenticator-app codes, passkeys, recovery codes, and trusted devices) gates sign-in only. It does not replace your master passphrase or recover vault data if the passphrase is lost.
The Code Scanner decodes QR codes, barcodes, and identity-document barcodes on your device. Use ID scanning only to help prevent fraud — for example, to compare scanned details against a physical document. Do not collect, store, or share someone else's identity data without consent and a lawful purpose.
Storage quotas, upload limits, and administrative actions (invite suspension, login disable, user deletion of pending invites) may be applied by deployment administrators. Operational availability is not guaranteed.
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators and contributors of UnseenDesk shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Application or violation of these Terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the operator regarding use of UnseenDesk.
